Experience

I attended Middlebury College, where I first discovered tutoring helping students in creative writing and political science. I've always loved writing, but I haven't always been good at it. To make myself a better writer, I practiced and try different approaches until I was able to figure it out. It is rewarding experience to have the topic click like that in my head. I want to help other students work through their learning difficulties to experience the same thing that I did with writing. I believe all students can learn any topic, and it just takes effort and guidance. I got better at writing by writing as much as I could. I can tutor students in elementary math, comparative literature, phonics, writing, reading, ESL, Korean, psychology, English grammar, social sciences, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and other standardized exams. My specialties as a tutor are SAT test preparation and writing. I'm looking forward to helping students learn using the step-by-step approach to help students develop their learning skills and self-sufficiency.
